The Influence Of Farmers’ Professional Co-operatives Benefit Mechanism For Performance

Chinese farmer cooperatives gained a rapid development since it appeared andspread all over China rapidly, simultaneously, attracted a lot of farmers joined them.In Shaanxi province, farmer cooperatives are loved by farmers, and the governmentsgive a strong support to co-operatives made it have sufficient space to develop. Bystatistics, there almost thirteen thousands co-operatives in Shaanxi province, and thereare a verities of forms to meet the different needs of farmers. Inevitably, there aremany problems in the development process, besides, the farmers also have manyinterests’ frictions with co-operatives, lead to our co-operatives be in a very low levelof development.This article from the perspective of interest to analysis farmer cooperatives’development, and then discussed how interest mechanism affects co-operatives’performance. Firstly, for farmers, the necessary reason which makes they join in theco-operatives is gain more interest. So it is important to improve their interestmechanisms. In this paper, we used the methods of questionnaire and field access tocollect date, and then we can understand the current situation, and then make a simplestatistical analysis to get some conclusions. After that we analysis property system ofco-operatives from the information we have gained, found the problems and proposedsome rational suggestions.Next, the paper makes a deep analysis on interest mechanism and thestakeholders, and then understands the relationship of interest between farmers andco-operatives, include the degree of satisfaction which the farmers to theco-operatives. From all of the above, we can get that there are three parts of interestmechanism; they are interest distribution mechanism, interest connection mechanismand interest excitation mechanism. And then in order to find how interest mechanismaffects co-operatives’ performance, we used structure space model to analysis itsrelationship, at last, we got a conclusion which interest distribution mechanism andinterest connection mechanism have greater impact on performance, and the interest excitation mechanism have weaker impact on co-operative’s performance.Finally, through the overall survey, against the problems of co-operatives,proposed following suggestions: Firstly, government to play its coordinating rolenorms, and to develop appropriate legal regime. Secondly, clear the property rightsdetermine the ownership interests. Thirdly, perfect interest’s mechanism to ensure theinterests of farmers.
