Studies On The Development Of Green Light Industry In Qinghai Province Based On The Growth Pole Theory

Qinghai province is located in the Tibetan plateau, it’s the important ecologicalbarriers of headwater and plateau in China, known as the “source of rivers”,“globalclimate stabilizer”,“Chinese water tower”. Qinghai province has a very importantecological status to the world. To protect the ecological environment of the “threeriver sources” is the responsibility that people in Qinghai should bear, and it is alsodo a huge contribution to the long development of the whole country. Therefore, toadjust and optimize the industrial structure, to reduce the heavy chemical industry’sproportion which has high investment, high energy intensive and high pollution, todevelop the light industry, especially the green light industry, all of it is imperativefor Qinghai.Since entering new century, the economic growth mode hasn’t had afundamental shift in Qinghai province, the extensive pattern of growth still continues,the second industry’s internal structure irrationality gradually appeared in Qinghaiprovince. All of it shows that it is high time to take measures to speed up thedevelopment of the light industry. This paper uses the Growth Pole theory inregional economics as the perspective, uses the sustainable development view asguidance, combines the actual conditions of Qinghai’s green characteristics of lightindustry, put forward the view that we should speed up to cultivate the growth poleof green light industry in Qinghai. In the same time, this paper carries on the SWOTanalysis for accelerating the development of green light industry in Qinghai, with theaid of SPSS software, using factor analysis method, selected the green light industrysector of industry cluster which we should focus on, and the regional spatial layout.Finally, in view of the Qinghai green light industry growth pole of cultivating, theauthor put forward some development measures.This article embarks from the industrialization process evolution at home andabroad, analysis and understanding the problems which existing in the industrialstructures of Qinghai. The author thinks that Qinghai should take measures to develop the light industry which we cannot surmountable and must to fill this class.The development of heavy industries and light industry should be implemented inQinghai, in the same time, we should moderate priority to develop the light industrystrategy, and cultivate the green light industry to be the growth pole which is veryimportant to Qinghai’s economic development. Put forward the characteristics of thegreen distinguishing feature light industry cluster in Qinghai and its spatial layout,use the growth pole theory to guide the green light industry development in Qinghaihas important practical significance, and has important reference value forgovernment making decision.
