An Interactive Research On The New-Pattern Industrialization And Urbanization In Sichuan Province

As two wings of social economic development, industrialization and urbanization are the only roads towards modernization. If industrialization is economic content of social development, urbanization is social content of economic development. During the developing process of human society, the development of industrialization and urbanization are supplemented and complement each other. On one side, industrialization motivates urbanization creation and sustainable development. On the other side, urbanization is the space form of industrialization and becomes significant backing of industrialization.In the face of international influences, various pressure and competitions from population, resource, environment and society during China’s modernization process, the traditional way of industrialization and urbanization can’t meet the present demands obviously. In the report of18th CCP National Congress, we clearly pointed out,"To adhere to the path of new-pattern industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization with Chinese characteristics","To promote positive interaction between industrialization and urbanization","To drive industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization developing simultaneously ". New-pattern industrialization and urbanization are two important poles of social economic development. Their interactive development can not only further the transition of our economic development mode, but also make the economic society development more comprehensive, harmonious and sustainable, which in turn attain the objective of building a well-off society in an all-round way.Since the execution of development strategy in West China, Sichuan industrialization and urbanization entered a speed-up growing path. Under the new situation, Sichuan government pay highly attention to interactive development of new-pattern industrialization and urbanization and they take efforts to form a benign development mode between new-pattern industrialization and urbanization.Under such political and economic circumstances, this paper does research on interactive development of new-pattern industrialization and urbanization in Sichuan from theoretical and practical perspectives, qualitative and quantitative perspectives, as well as domestic and overseas perspectives. It is not only the exploration of regional economic development mode, but also the exploration of development mode in combination of new-pattern industrialization and urbanization.This paper develops the analysis as follows:firstly, it makes comprehensive summarization of domestic and overseas researches about industrialization and urbanization, and illustrates theoretical basis and relevant concepts; it adopts entropy method to construct weighted model between new-pattern modernization and urbanization in Sichuan Province, calculates the composite score of new-pattern industrialization and urbanization in18cities of Sichuan Province; then, it analyzes strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of new-pattern industrialization and urbanization in Tianfu New District which is trial development regions of Sichuan Province; it does research about industrialization and urbanization development in representative domestic and foreign countries and regions, and offers experience reference for interactive development between new-pattern industrialization and urbanization in Sichuan Province; finally, on the basis of above analysis, it proposes several targeted countermeasures for interactive development between new-pattern industrialization and urbanization.Studies on new-pattern industrialization and urbanization are few. In terms of the fact, this article is valuable for filling the blank. Based on the comprehension of new-pattern industrialization and urbanization, this article adds indexes such as population, environment and resources to do the research. New model is established to analyze interactive mechanism between new-pattern industrialization and urbanization.
