With rapid development of economy and wealth growing of residents in China, the market of retail banking is playing an important role increasingly. All banks are aware of the important strategic significance of sustainable and stable development of entire businesses, and accelerate the pace of development. This paper summarizes what the retail banking is and the strategy significance of development of retail banking first. In order to explain the necessity and competitive environment for B bank to develop retail banking, this article analyses external environment of strategy for developing retail banking of the small joint-stock banks then. Third, I introduce the strategy of retail banking of B bank, and how to implement the strategy as well as a series of security measures. All over the discussions I wish to provide a reference for strategy formulation and implementation of small joint-stock banking.
