Studies On Countermeasures Of The Transformation Development Of Shanxi Swine Industry

Based on the history of Shanxi swine industry, swine production situation, the distribution of swine-producing region, the situation of large swine-breeding counties, the status of swine system construction, and the introduction, breeding and breed conservation of swine were analyzed in detail. In this paper, the four characteristics of current swine industry of Shanxi province, and the core problem of varieties of weak that restricts the further development of swine industry were indicated. The necessity and feasibility on transformation development of swine industry in Shanxi province were analysis indicated, and the overall development ideas of swine industry, which was that the transformation development of swine industry was guided by scientific ideology, aimed at one goal, insisted on two ways, depended on three bases, exploited the four markets, played the five advantages and made the six measures, were put forward. The aims of transformation development of Shanxi swine industry were significant improvement of the level of swine scale farming and the proportion of swine scale farming reached more than80%, obvious increasing on processing and transforming capacity, the rate to more than60%, and significant improvement on swine market provision and the total amount of swine for sale per year achieved above22million by the end of the12th five-year. This paper put forward the countermeasures of improving stock breeding system, transforming farming ways, accelerating the industrialization, improving service levels and increasing the financial support to Shanxi swine industry.
