Performance Management refers to the employee’s job duties phased achievedresults and the process can be evaluated behavior. The role of performancemanagement of an enterprise is enormous, performance management for enhancingthe competitiveness of enterprises have a huge role in promoting performancemanagement are very necessary. Performance management is especially important inmature businesses, there is no effective performance management, organizational andindividual performance not continue to improve, organizations and individuals on thebrutal competition in the market can not meet the needs of the market will eventuallybe phased out.This paper describes the current research on performance management theory,and pointed out the significance of establishing performance management system, thepower company come Tieling importance and necessity to further improve itsperformance management system. Subsequently, a brief introduction in theperformance management of some commonly used evaluation methods and tools,based on the scope of the power company’s actual situation Tieling and evaluationtools, in close combination of both, and then describes the performance managementand performance evaluation of similarities and differences. In this paper, Tielingpower company in terms of demonstrated performance deficiencies, a diagnosis andanalysis.
