Since the twenty-first century, many changes have happened in the traditionalmanufacturing mode, customers have become more personalized and diversified theproduct requirements, which results in not only the production correspondinglychanges from the past single variety of mass production mode to present the manyvarieties of small batch production pattern, from the previous specializationproduction into today’s flexibility production, but also the product renewal speed isfaster than ever. These changes make the equipments become more and moresophisticated and complex, so the equipment maintenance difficulty increases, cost ofrepair and strength also increase. How to reduce the production cost in the premise ofnot affecting the quality of the products has become a problem of the presentmanufacturing enterprises. Based on the relevant researches of domestic and abroad,this paper analyzes the status of equipment management of a company and introducesa total productive maintenance idea to improve the situation of equipmentmanagement system and structure the more suitable for equipm ent maintenancemanagement system.Based on the review of the research status at home and abroad, this papersummarizes the basic situation of TPM management of A company, analyzes the Acompany’s existing equipment management problems, and illustrates fro m the all staff,the whole system, the full efficiency, separately. And then the synchronousimprovement from the three levels was implemented, that is, in the all staff aspectthrough the system and incentive mechanism to encourage the full participation, in thewhole system through further improve the classification management and theinspection of equipment, and in the full efficiency, first to calculate OEE value, thenanalysis the value combined with the fishbone diagram to improve the specificdirection, and the use of "5W1H", value stream mapping, Pareto drawing tools such asOEE three factors at different levels of improvement.Finally, this paper combines with the specific circumstances and results ofimprovement, mainly from the organization, equipment management, equipmentmaintenance, equipment management and equipment daily inspection and assessment,builds an equipment management system suitable for A company.
