| With the development of economic and financial, finance globalization andfinancial liberalization going on, banking industry of China are gradually becomingan important part of the worldwide banking industry, and in competition withbanks all over the world.As the result of reformation and opening,the municipalcommercial banks,one hand,are now playing a great role in Chinese financialsystem.Compared to competition, City commercial banks are at a disadvantage in the capitalstrength, asset size and market influence. Therefore, how to identify the marketposition is the key for the city commercial banks to develop in the fierce competition.Comparative analysis,qualitative analysis and case study are utilized in this thesis.Firstly, we begin with the introduction of the background of this research.In thesecond part,the development model of city commercial banks are stated.In the thirdpart, this thesis turns to the case study of Anyang Bank.Using the analysis method ofSWOT, the Banks of Anyang’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats areanalyzed and discussed. As a city commercial bank middle level, the developmentstrategy of Bank of Anyang are found out. WO strategy is the most suitable for theBank of Anyang.Finally, based on the above analysis,the article puts forward to effectivemeasures for achieve the strategic goal of Anyang Bank. Market positioning strategy,regional development strategy to improve the corporate governance strategy,implementation of the joint reorganization, build the enterprise culture strategy unique,adhere to business innovation strategy are discussed in detail. |
