The world economy is going through the trend of "service";International servicetrade status upgrade, and the foreign direct investment are increasingly turning to theservice industry. The development of service industry and internationalcompetitiveness is an important symbol to measure a country or level of regionalindustrial structure and the level of economic development. The development ofservice industry in increasing employment, adjusting the industrial structure,changing the mode of economic growth, improving people’s quality of life, improvingthe economy and international competitiveness, promoting the economic growth inthe long run is becoming more and more important.In this paper, with the added value of service industry and the growth rate oflabor productivity as indicators of service industry upgrading and internationalcompetition, is introduced into the analysis framework of neoclassical growth model,for the country’s1997-2013and1985-2013data of guangdong is the empiricalanalysis, to explore China’s service industry promoting industrial upgrading andinternational competitiveness by domestic technological progress, human capitalinvestment, capital investment, labor force growth, and the factors of FDI technologyspillover effect mechanism. Conclusion this study mainly include:First, theoretical analysis shows that, the inherent link between the developmentof open economy under the conditions of human capital, domestic investment in fixedassets, foreign direct investment, external power and service industry. Foreign directinvestment through the demonstration effect, competition effect, linkage effect,human capital accumulation and institutional "Daobi" effect on the development ofservice industry of our country to promote or inhibit the role of two. Second, An empirical comparison of the empirical results shows that the data ofnational1997--2013and Guangdong1985--2013years based on.For the country as awhole, the domestic labor input has a greater positive effect and the labor productivity;Guangdong services is high, there is no service industry labor shortage, labor inputnegative effect on growth of output and labor productivity but are smaller. Thepositive effect, has a small domestic service industry capital input and Guangdong;domestic service industry capital input to service sector output and labor productivitygrowth has a positive effect.
