Study On Strategies Of Agricultural Science And Technology Development In Shaanxi

Modern agricultural technology is the fundamental driving force of modern agricultureand rural economic development, the only way to optimize the allocation of resources andachieve agricultural modernization and sustainable development of agriculture. It’s veryimportant for improving the overall efficiency of agriculture in Shaanxi Province thatvigorously promote the development of modern agricultural technology.It is an important stage of agriculture from Traditional Agriculture to Modern Agriculturein Shaanxi,facing the industrial structure optimization, the comprehensive production capacityincreased, increasing the peasant’s income as well as the historical task of building a well-offsociety. Larger pressure on food security, outstanding quality and safety problems ofagricultural products, bulk agricultural products less competitive and farmers’ income growthweakly have become a major issue that must be addressed in agricultural development inShaanxi. In the background of population growth, resource scarcity, environmentaldegradation, the fundamental way is to rely on the progress and development of agriculturaltechnology.This paper came up with strategy and goals, main research areas and emphasis at a newstage of agricultural technology development in Shaanxi, based on the study of foreignagricultural science and technology development strategy, combined with the status ofagricultural science and technology development in Shaanxi. Finally it concluded somepolicies and measures to promote agricultural technology development.
