With the increasing of economic globalization, technology and resource havebecome the key factors which restricted the development of innovation ability.Because of its fundamental role of helping organization maintaining the profit,innovation has received increasing attention and capital input. Thereby, more andmore innovation factors combined with the help of fusion, so that the ability of thewhole innovation system has been promoted.As it can be seen as one of the most important indicators of new technology,patent information is a vital data source of monitoring technology fusion. From themethod perspective, there is few way to monitor the dynamic trajectory, which iscaused by the limitation of storage and analysis technics. We need to build areasonable logic storage model as the knowledge base, and study on the retrieval,analysis and result presentation methods based on that.This study uses the ontology model as the logic storage medium of patentinformation; accomplish the implementation of ontology knowledge base by usingsemantic annotation programming; and monitoring the technology fusion trajectory byobtaining dominant and recessive patent knowledge within the ontology with the helpof rezoning and retrieval methods.Major contributions of the thesis are as follows: in the first place, the semanticoriented ontology can solve the problem of complicated retrieval and data redundancy.The structure of patent ontology and knowledge base are designed toward thedemands of patent monitoring and analysis. Secondly, use Neo4j graph database asontology knowledge base’s storage medium, and study on the mapping relationsbetween ontology and graph topology. Design and achieve the ontology populationalgorithm, which can automate the implementation and storage process of patentknowledge base. Finally, in the point of mining knowledge flow within patents, amethod of monitoring technology fusion innovation trajectory has been designed.
