| High-tech industry has been an important position in national economy of ourcountry. High-tech industry has high added value and high yield characteristics, and itrepresents the future direction of industrial development, in addition, it can also promotedevelopment of the traditional industry. Developing high-tech industry has been one ofthe important measures to promote scientific and economic development and industrialtransformation and upgrading in our country during the “The Twelfth Five-Year planâ€.Research and development is an important driving force of our country’s economic growth,which has played an important role to guide our country’s economy. R&D efficiency isable to make clear the development level of high-tech industry in China, in order to furtherpromote our high technology industry development strategy to provide data support.Therefore, R&D efficiency has been studied in this article separately from the industrylevel and regional level of high-tech industry in China.This thesis was divided into six chapters. Chapter1mainly introduced thebackground, significance, purpose, innovation and structural arrangements of this study.Chapter2ã€Chapter3were a literature review about R&D efficiency evaluation,and DEA,and it also introduced the commonly used efficiency evaluation method, and a detailedintroduction of DEA method. Chapter4evaluated R&D efficiency in17industries ofhigh-tech industry in China from2006to2010with DEA method. It found that theefficiency of high-tech industry in China is generally low. Chapter5evaluated R&Defficiency in high technology industry of27provinces and cities in2011with DEAmethod. It found that R&D efficiency of the eastern part of our country is relatively high,and R&D efficiency of the middle and west part of China is low. Lastly, we put forwardthe conclusion of this study, as well as the research limitations and future study directions. |
