| Under the background of rapid scientific development and economic globalization, competition among countries and regions is to a great extent the competition of high and new technology industry. In traditional economic theory, economic growth is mainly attributed to factou inputs and improvement of productivity. During the present period of expecting society's sustainable development and exploring to change the mode of economic growth, technical efficiency (TE) has become one of the important aspects of measuring economic growth. So, it is important for advancing the development level and competition with researching the TE of High-Tech Industry.Based on the development facets of High-Tech industry in China, combined with the related researches native and abroad, and the researching object is seventeen industries of High-Tech Industry in China, using Data Envelopment Analysis calculated these technical efficiency, then as dependent variable, use Tobit regression, analysising the main infuence factor of High-Tech Industry in China. Abtain the main conclusions:(1) 1996-2006, the average of the Chinese high-tech industries technical efficiency is 0.658, so there is non-efficient technology. By the technical efficiency of decomposition received a purely technical efficiency and efficiency of scale are about 0.8, shows that the technical efficiency of the high-tech industries in china is not high with related both purely technical efficiency and scale non-efficiency.(2) The technical efficiency exists a wide gap between different sectors, and is uneven. In general, the efficient technology of computer and office equipment manufacturing is the highest, the efficient technology of aerospace-manufacturing is the lowest.(3) The result of analysising the influence factor of technical efficiency of Hi-Tech Industry is that the the influence is positive of the quality of labor force, market concentration, technological progress and time, and the nagetive influence factor is the ownership structure and international competitiveness has no correlation with technical efficiency. |
