Organization Structure And Operation Process Modeling And Optimization Of Fenghuo Machine Factory

Fenghuo machine factory is a state-owned military enterprise. Its characteristicis multi-variety and small batch production, which makes managing system morecomplex. Under this background, the key point of diagnosis and study of thefactory’s management in this thesis is the contradiction between its civil productionin the industrialization transition period operated by project department (profit center)and its existing military management mode fully. This contradiction leads the lack ofunitive cognition of operation interface among the operation departments, as well aslow efficiency and high cost; thereby lead the factory’s existing scientific researchand producing framework, as well as the whole managing process facing bigchallenge.In this thesis, IDEF0is used to make a detailed and clear description of thepresent processes and system of the factory, based on its existing organizationalstructure and business processes. Then, according to the system engineeringconcepts, process reengineering ideas, and total quality management, the problemsand their adverse effects of the factory’s existing operation and management systemis diagnosed. Furthermore, the Optimized organization structure and operationprocess model is built. The analyzing area relates to every department and everyproduction implementing and supporting process of the factory. The complex factorsof the state-owned military enterprise are fully considered. Through processreengineering, the business interface among the operation departments is unified,and greater efficiency and lower costs is achieved.
