With the pace of work speeding up, learning becomes more and moreimportant to employees. As a learning manager, I have been thinking aboutthe problem that if the employees learn actively, is there any effect on theirjob performance? If the effect exists, then how does it occur? I will take thischance to find out these questions through empirical methods oforganizational management research.Combined with previous theoretical studies and the author’s own workexperience and observation, we hypothesize: Hypothesis1)Employeelearning orientation is positively correlated to job performance; Hypothesis2)Employee learning orientation is positively correlated to self-efficacy;Hypothesis3)Employee Self-efficacy mediates the positive relationshipbetween employee learning orientation and job performance. In order to test above three hypotheses, we conducted this study in MBAstudent as well as their friends and colleagues, using the measurement scale from published authority literatures. In order to prove the three proposedhypotheses by empirically testing, the research data has been tested rigorouslyon the reliability and validity before correlation analysis and multiple linearregression analysis.Thesis eventually come to the following conclusions:(1) Employeelearning orientation will increase job performance;(2) Employee learningorientation is positively related to self-efficacy;(3) Employee learningorientation is positively related to job performance, and these relationshipswere mediated by employee self-efficacy. This research was supported bycredible data. We discuss the implications of these findings for creativitytheory and research, as well as for management practice. From a practicalperspective, this research can help management team, especially thosetraining managers recognize the important link between learning and jobperformance.Further more, this research also clarified the importance ofhelping employees achieve better job performance by enhancing theirabilities.
