Today, the rapid development of various industries in the21st century,alongwith the ever-changing market and consumer demand, intensified competition amongvarious companies in each industry, faced with the complicated external environment,businesses need every industry market-oriented, market their product positioning,market segmentation, select their target market,identify their target audience,producing their own bestsellers to meet market and customer needs. On the otherhand, with the continuous development and growth, types of products will continue toincrease, functional department of enterprise clear division of responsibilities, thelack of a global and holistic mindset of the drawbacks to consider would be the impacton product development. In such cases, the development of product management, therole of each product manager, making products from the pre-market research todetermine market positioning, product research and development to production, salestechnical support until the full product life-cycle management to guarantee. Furthermore, the effective coordination between different departments to maximize theadvantages of the different departments, making everyone’s effort to work togethertoward victory drawbacks product development efforts.This paper will take the product management theory as the theoretical basis,focus on the product management of the implementation of original spare parts fieldstudy, to tap the market potential for the center, at the same time using six differentdimensions of product management method of original spare parts management, fullyaffirmed the importance of the product management in the field of original spare partsand the necessity. Then paper to D company in the field of original spare partsproducts in product management project as a typical case of six different latitudeproduct verification of the implementation of the management methods, andimplementation of the original spare parts in the mechanical and electrical industryproduct management system to optimize enterprise resources, improve the originalspare parts products on the market brand competitive advantage plays an importantrole in the conclusion, that other companies in the industry in product managementmethods to draw lessons from.This study seeks to implement the reality of product management methods from the field of original spare parts, in-depth analysis to put forward somecountermeasures workable and innovative. I hope this can be resolved onlycountermeasure product management issues facing businesses, but also to help theindustry improve its product management skill.
