Investigation Of Food Safety Traceability Legal System

Food safety is a hot topic of social concern, and food safety traceability system is one of theimportant systems of food safety system. It is a food safety information disclosure tool, whichcan effectively implement supervision and find the source of the safety problem, then reduce theincidence of food safety issues and ensure the safety of food. In the field of food safetytraceability legislation, it is worth for other countries to learn from developed countries, becausethey are at the forefront of the world. Besides, there are two representative law modes, the EU(European Union) mode and the American mode. Currently, still some drawbacks exist in thelaw system of China’s food safety. We should learn from the successful experience of developedcountries such as European Union and the United States to improve our current food safetytraceability legal system.This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is about the development andreform of food safety traceability and the investigation in current legal regulation. It gives abriefly introduction on the development and reform of developed counties’ and China’s foodsafety traceability, investigating the current situation of our nation’s current food safetytraceability system and working out the existing problem. The second chapter talks about themode of food safety traceability legal system of developed countries and its Enlightenment,mainly introducing developed countries’ two representative modes, the EU mode and theAmerican mode, analyzing their special characteristic. Therefore, we can learn from the usefulexperience and advanced measure of developed countries and provide references on theimprovement of our nation’s food safety traceability legal system. The third chapter goes to talkabout the reflection on perfecting China’s food safety traceability legal system, illustrates thebasic reflection on China’s food safety traceability legal system and provides useful measure onhow to perfect our legal system.
