With the rapid development of IT, our life in various aspects is deeply influenced.And Network finance becomes popular, which is subtly changing the location oncetraditional bank sector in the finance market. There is a wide range of concepts ofnetwork finance. It contains not only the mature forms such as online banking, mobilebanking but also the current hot spots such as mobile payment,P2P and crowdfunding. Itis nether just the simple mixture of technologies and data nor the upgrade of traditionalfinance. In fact, it’s a kind of modern finance which is based on the network thought, andas technology to be its support. In current big data times, Network finance, as a new formof participation in the finance market, will have a fierce competition with traditionalbanking institutions. In future times, it may change the traditional financial managementmode and operation pattern. And this will brings great challenges to the traditional bank,meanwhile, it also brings with unprecedented opportunities. This paper select Yu Ebaoas the representation of internet financial for research, collect the latest information toorganize the concept,development and characteristics of internet finance. Through actualinvestigation and case anlysis in this paper, the advantages and defects of internet financeare stated. Then we discuss the influence it brings to the traditional bank. From theperspective of the current development situation, Yu Ebao can not takes too mucheffects on the traditional banks. While banks should gradually increase the abilities totackle the silver effect brought by internet finance. Then change the developmentconcept, comply with the development of the internet finance trend.
