The Competitive Analysis Of China’s Transport Services Trade

In recent years, with the deepening of economic globalization and China’ssuccessful accession to the WTO, China’s foreign trade keeps developing fast,especially in the good trade. At the same time,China’s service trade also has beenrapid development. However, unlike trade in goods, China’s service trade has beendeficit for a long time,the service trade competitiveness is weak. And among China’sservice trade’s sectors, the transport servicest trade’s deficit amount is the largest, andto a certain extent it can be said to cause the main reason for China’s service tradedeficit. On the other hand, transport trade and goods trade are closely linked andmutually reinforcing, the level of transport trade will affectes the development of tradein goods. And china is a big good trade countrry,we should pay more attention to thetransport trade. In such economic context, by exploring the current world and China’stransport services trade’s actual situation,introduce and analyse China’s internationalcompetitiveness in the transport trade, then in accordance with China’s specificconditions, give out some advices to improve the trade competitiveness of China’sTransport,which is full of practical economic significance, and also the purpose ofwriting this article.In this paper,we use a combination of theoretical and empirical writing methods,firstly through the relevant theoretical analysis, from which we summarize somefactors that affecting trade competitiveness. Then introducing the overview of the worldand our country’s transportation trading performance.Through comparative analysis ofthe world’s major transportation trade nations’s competitiveness index in transportservices trade,knowning China’s competitive situation. This article focuses on Chinaand some major transport trading nations’s trade balance, through quantitative analysis,obtaines a number of affecting transport trade balance ’s variables. Then analysing thefactors of our country and abroad enterprises’s competitiveness,to discover thereasons the our country’s transport enterprises’s weakness.Through this research approach, we found that China’s current overallcompetitiveness of the transport trade is still relatively weak, external competitive. Aftermeasuring analysis, we summed up some variables that affect the transport servicesbalance,for example,China’s gross domestic product, imports and exports of China’s good trade, foreign direct investment in China, as well as the distance between tradingcountries. The factors that affecte the competitiveness of enterprises, such asenterprise size and strength, service levels, transportation overlay network constructionand other aspects, there is a gap among these factors between the transportationcompanies. After the above empirical analysis, in accordance with China’s specificnational conditions,we reach some advices on the promotion of the competitiveness ofour country transport trade, such as improving our transport enterprises level of service,to encourage China’s transport enterprises to invest overseas in transportinfrastructure and pay attention to the cultivation of high-level transportationprofessionals, the Government has to create a favorable environment for thedevelopment of transportation and some other advices to promote competitiveness ofChina’s transportation trade.
