Study On EPC Project Schedule Management

With China’s economic development and social progress, the rapid developmentof China’s metallurgical industry, metallurgical engineering project’s operation is alsoadvancing with the times, adapt to the changes in the market and industry updatingrequirement. At present, the metallurgical engineering project in China mainly uses theEPC general contract mode, namely the project schedule management. The design-Procurement-construction mode, can achieve the depth of cross project schedulemanagement in time, shorten the duration of the project, to achieve cost savings, improvethe economic benefit of the project.In this paper, CIE continuous RH refining engineering project EPC as a case, combiningthe characteristics of continuous RH refining engineering EPC project, expounds theproject management process, and the process and the specific points on the establishmentof the project schedule are described, and to set up four level scheduling system. From theschedule, inspection schedule deviation analysis and schedule three aspects were studied, andthe existence of the project schedule management problems are analyzed and studied,.In thispaper, research progress on other metallurgical project management, has the certainreference significance.
