Complicated manufacture trade represented by aerospace products has becomeone of the cutting-edge industries which get the highest development speed.Powerful aerospace products indicate the economy, safety, national prestige of thenation in the world. At the present time, aerospace science and technology industryof China is in the strategic opportunity period with numerous tasks, fast developmentand keen competition. Accordingly the key issue of Chinese manufacturingenterprise of aerospace products is how to improve production capability andefficiency with quality improving together. As the communication bridge betweenscientific management departments and production workshop, ManufacturingExecution System (MES) has been widely used in production management.Production management platform based on MES can effectively solve the problemabove.Based on the domestic and foreign literature review, this paper studies theissues of A company, including the lack of effective control on production process,loose relationship between material preparation and production management, theplan short of instruction, rough production, informatization technology not widelyand deeply used in production process, backward technology for track andinspection, the slow speed of production information feedback and decision-making.Firstly, this paper analyses the character of production process and problems inproduction process management in A company, and establishes the patterns ofproduction, with preparation-centered production manufactured in each unit. Bychanging organizational structure and strengthening control of production process, Acompany can improve the product quality, speed up the production logistic andstrengthen the production ability. Through establishing and perfecting technicalstandard system and innovation mechanism,strengthening research anddevelopment, process level develop rapidly, and the technical platform will beestablished at the same time. This paper designs the production managementplatform based on MES and the character of aerospace enterprise A company, showsthe application of MES in A company, and analyses risk and control of operationsmanagement of MES. In this thesis, MES takes many advantages to A company, such as fasterenterprise production management, better quality, higher level of materialmanagement, shorter production cycle time and transparent paperless productionmanagement. At the same time, MES provides reference to final assemblydigitization construction of multi-item small-lot aerospace products, and helpenterprise quicken the response to product development to adapt to the keen marketcompetition and different user demand. MES also makes good preparation for thenew aerospace products.
