The Development And Research On The Industry Tourism Of Ansteel

The industrial tourism is an arisen tourist form based on the development of industry and tourism with broad prospect, which will generate great social and economic benefits. Anshan has a unique advantage to develop tourism of iron and steel industry. It’s worth mentioning that Anshan is the first large integrated iron and steel works recovered since the founding of New China, as well as the earliest built up steel production base. For this reason, Anshan has a long history of industrial development, and abundant resources for industrial tourism, all those preconditions lay a good foundation to develop industrial tourism of Ansteel. Meanwhile, developing industrial tourism means a lot to Ansteel. That industrial tourism can help Ansteel to gain more popularity, and expand sales of industrial product, but also generate great social benefit. In 1999, Ansteel started to develop industrial tourism. Till 2001, “ The Industrial Trip of Ansteel” was honored with “Demonstration Model for Liaoning Industrial and Agricultural Tourism” by Liaoning provincial government and provincial tourism bureau, and in 1994, was shortlisted to “National Demonstration Model for Industrial and Agricultural Tourism” with high score, both of those indicate that Anshan has made achievement in the development of industrial tourism. However, Ansteel still face some issues about it, and these issues restrict the development of Ansteel industrial tourism severely. Based on that, this article will analyze Ansteel industrial tourism, and offer advice and suggestions for its development.Firstly, this article will define the concepts about industrial tourism and industrial heritage tourism, meanwhile use the theory of traveling experience and the theory of heritage protection and recycle as the important theoretical support to study this subject. This article carefully analyzes the development status and conditions of Ansteel industrial tourism, pointing out the major problems that occur in the development process. Then, it will choose some examples, the cases of the tourism of iron and steel industry at home and abroad, to learn and gain experience, and analyze how to develop Ansteel industrial tourism. The cases include Baosteel, Hangzhou tourism of iron and steel industry, German’s V?lklinger Hütte and tourism of iron and steel industry in Pittsburgh, the U.S. On this basis, this article will raise the main principle and target location for the development of Ansteel industrial tourism, and design the relevant image, marketing and products.
