Agricultural technology extension is the bridge and link of achievement of science and technology and agricultural production. It can effectively promote the development of agriculture and promote the development of rural economy. Through the investigation and analysis of setting of agrotechnical promotion orgnaization and promotion team of Weifang city, the paper analyzes the main restricting factors of agricultural technology promotion system are: agricultural technology promotion system is not suitable, agricultural technology promotion funds is badly lack, agricultural technology promotion internal operation mechanism is not vivid, agro technical promotion team structure is unreasonable, agricultural technology extension service is not perfect, agricultural science and technology promotion is disconnection with practical production etc. The paper puts forward the new ideas and countermeasures to promote agricultural technology promotion system of Weifang city, including reform traditional agro technical promotion mechanism, increase the government support to agricultural technology extension, develop agricultural professional cooperation organization, improve the personnel quality of agricultural technology promotion, improve services of agricultural technology extension, establish a diversified agricultural technology extension system.
