The Research Of Product Quality Reformation In Jiuquan In The Term Of Consumer Protection

With the booming development of Chinese economy in the late 30 decades, the consumers’ living standards are getting better. At the same time, their demands for the quality standards of products become higher varying with the increase of market selection channels, enterprises individually realized the importance of strategic position of product quality supervision. But the present quality supervision of Jiuquan overemphasizes the responsibility of government and the quality management of producers, and are ignoring or despising the consumers’ participation as well as consumer organizations’. Aiming at starting with the angle of consumers participation in the product quality management, the study strives to take a new look at the quality supervision of Jiuquan, hoping to give constructive advice on the reformation of quality supervision mechanism of Jiuquan.On the theoretical basis of Consumer Paramountcy and Good Governance theories, using the methods of comparative analysis and case study, we attempt to study problems and confusion facing the quality supervision of Jiuquan by dissecting the lack of consumer’s participation in the quality supervision and suggest the increase of consumer’s participating in the product quality supervision of Jiuquan city according to the physical truth of Jiuquan.The study deems that after the research that the present system of quality supervision of Jiuquan, which can’t cover all the problems of product quality with less administrators comparing to a large number of producers and an enormous amount of products. Using the experience of developed countries for reference, on the basis of law, we should take consumers to quality supervision by dredging the obstacles of law and lowing the cost of consumer participation and changing the function and operation way of consumer association in order to protect consumers’ health and safety as quality supervision’s core and to enhance the level and efficiency of the product quality supervision of Jiuquan.
