With China’4G mobile telecommunication business license formally being issued, China telecom industry has been upgraded from 3G to 4G era. Under the background of new technology environment, three carriers start a fierce competition. As a new mobile operator, China Telecom is not only facing the challenge, but also is catching up with a good opportunity for development in such a technology renewal period. In many segments market, China Telecom company attaches great importance to the university students due to university expansion and ultra high mobile phone penetration rate.This paper selects Guangzhou Telecom in Guangzhou university market as a case study to make an in-depth analysis, using the method of literature review, questionnaire as main research metheds. Through scientific marketing analysis tools on researching Guangzhou’ Telecom’s internal and external environment and current Guangzhou university telecommunication market situation, this paper tries to find out the deficiencies and reasons. Secondly, this paper has made the optimization design for campus telecom marketing from product strategy, price strategy, channel strategy, promotion strategy and new network marketing model.
