With the rapid development of Chinese economy, Chinese medicine retail market is also growing faster than GDP average. However, due to historical reasons, the management skill of medicine retail enterprises in China are low, uncompetitiveness and poor profitability, under development. At present, Chinese medicine retail market is facing a new reform policy and regulatory requirements upgrading, sustained growth of the cost, profitability decline, and many other pressure. Along with the improving of the specialized service demand, consumption demand and market competition, industry survival pressure are bigger and bigger, industry upgrading and innovation are vividly portrayed.As a member of the pharmaceutical retail enterprise, a company also faces enormous pressure of competition, its development pattern need to transform and upgrade. When the traditional pharmacy retail industry has become the red sea, the new development model has become inevitable. The birth of the automation pharmacy is a great revolution and innovation of Chinese pharmaceutical retail industry. The efficient intelligent operation, professional services, real-time control system, make the pharmaceutical retail industry step across to the league era with meeting the demand, providing professional services, standardized operation, reducing the cost. It can also bring innovation and upgrading of industry, and become the most modern and most valuable retail flag.Based on A company, the main content of this paper has two aspects, one is to investigate company development feasibility and applicability of the pharmacy automation specialty, the other is to provide feasible suggestions for the development model and implementation strategy of automation of pharmacy. Firstly, this paper analyzes the current market conditions and competition situation of pharmaceutical retail industry, and does an in-depth analysis of the problem of the transformation that the company is facing; Then combining with the development, market prospects and competitive analysis of automated pharmacy, and SWOT analysis, it discusses the possibility and applicability to transform development model for A company;Finally with the analysis of automation pharmacy industry and market conditions, the respect such as the background of automation medicine, it analyzes the development trend of automation pharmacy. According to A company’s own situation, it put forward feasible suggestions to the automation pharmacy development model and implementation strategy, hoping to help A company automation pharmacy development with advanced technology and equipment, and professional and personalized service, for customers to create A good shopping environment and experience, and meeting the needs of the national policy regulation of retail pharmacies, even leading pharmaceutical retail industry development direction in the future.
