The Reaserch On Government Function Of Tourism Development

Tourism is an important pillar of national economic development, the government function in tourism development attract more and more attention. According to the development strategy of "two transitions", that is, urban transition and economy transition, Wuhai is building itself into a western regional center of Inner Mongolia, developing tourism into the important sector of the third industry and a new economic growth point, improving scenic areas quality, quality service, public infrastructure construction and product marketing, expanding industry scale, upgrading industrial structure. To develop quality and efficiency together, Wuhai conforms tourism resources and creates a good development environment for tourism.This paper starts from the view of tourism development, on the base of government governance theory and new public administration theory, uses case analysis method and document analysis method, deeply analyzes the government function in tourism development, and finds that there are many problems of tourism development like government department dislocation, location absence, position offside by government led. At last, this paper gives a specific countermeasures and suggestions,that is, building market leading model, handling properly relationship between tourism administrative department and other relevant administrative departments, clearing the administrative limits of tourism administrative.
