An Empirical Study On Agricultural Technology Extension Mode Of Farmers’ Cooperatives

The current agricultural development in China is in a stage of transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, undoubtedly, accelerating the promotion and transformation of agricultural science and technology achievements is an important way of support and promote the development of agriculture. As a kind of rapid development of the rural organization form in China, farmers’ cooperatives play an indispensable role in raising farmers’ income, accelerating the development of modern agriculture, promoting the construction of new socialist rural areas, and also are effected to promoting the research and development, demonstration and popularization and application of agricultural science and technology.Nowadays, there are many subjects in Fujian province agricultural technology extension system, but the agricultural technology extension mode of Fujian province still exists many problems, for example, the conversion rate is low, the radiation effect is poor, especially the participation of farmers is low, the needs are disconned with the research and promotion, and so on. In addition, mechanism, policy, talent, capital are also the limiting factors. Farmers’ cooperatives are an important part of agricultural technology extension system in China, so this article will takes the farmers’ cooperatives in Fujian as the object, makes a depth analysis and research of the mode of agricultural technology extension with cooperatives, giving full play to the advantages and unique role of cooperative in agricultural technology extension, it’s not only helpful to creates a good environment for cooperatives, and helpful to improve the mechanism of farmers’cooperatives in fujian to take part in technology extension, also helpful to overall the extension system construction work of Fujian province.This article is divided into the following seven parts altogether. Firstly, describe the background, purpose and significance of the research, and the related concepts were defined, and introduce the research methods and the possible innovations. Second, collate the domestic and international research related to this article. Third, lists several theoretical basis and practical significances. Fourth, classify several kinds of abroad typical technology extension ways and sum up the enlightenment for the farmers’cooperatives of Fujian. Fifth, organize related data and research material, analysis the current situation of Fujian farmer’s cooperatives to participate in the agricultural technology extension, including the main modes and characteristics, results and problems. Sixth, calculate the effects of technological factors on the cooperative income by using C-D production function, make an empirical analysis of factors that influence efficiency of farmers cooperatives in agricultural technology extension by using AHP, then evaluate the mode of Fujian farmers’ cooperatives to participate in the agricultural technology extension by using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Last, sum up the six conclusions according to the previous sections, then, put forward the countermeasures and suggestions from the system construction, the policy environment, capital support, cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan and staff education training, etc.
