For more than 30 years of reform and opening up, China has achieved remarkable remarkable success, surpassed Japan in the GDP in 2010, and becomes the largest economy after the United States. With the financial crisis and the subsequent debt crisis occurred in 2008, the world economic situation has changed, China’s economy has entered a period of new normal. Therefore, the traditional economic growth model based on investment and export has been unsustainable. After the weight of bad assets of China’s banking industry and the predicament experienced during the transition period, we must face up to the banking industry "new normal", focus on improving the quality of bank assets and operating efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to study the non-performing assets of banks in the period of new normal.In this paper, we study the disposal patterns of non-performing assets of banks. On the basis of analyzing the formation mechanism of non-performing assets of banks bad and learning the history experience of the disposal of non-performing assets of bank, we must face the period of new normal of banks in China’s economic development; explore the formation mechanism of non-performing assets of banks in the period of new normal in the four aspects:government functions, the role of banks, the property right of corporate and the conversion of economic structure; explore new disposal patterns of non-performing assets of banks, namely capital market-oriented model, M & A mode, trust disposal mode outsourcing subcontracting model, asset securitization model and open auction model. To improve the effectiveness of these modes, we need the joint efforts of government, banks and enterprises, so we give relevant suggestions.
