Empirical Analysis On The Competitiveness Of Strategic Emerging Industries

After the global financial crisis in 2008, many countries have put forward strategic transformation, taking technological innovation as the focal point of economic development. In 2010, our country also has issued "The Decision about to Speed Up the Cultivating and Developing Strategic Emerging Industries", and identified the seven strategic emerging industries. Every province and city across the country has introduced relevant policies, vigorously developing strategic emerging industries. After years of development, strategic emerging industries are taking shape in every province. Based on this, this paper researches the strategic emerging industries competitiveness of every province and city, and finds the contribution of the technical innovation factor is the largest. Then, this paper analyzes the innovation performance’s influence factors of the strategic emerging industries deeply in order to enhance the competitiveness of strategic emerging industries and put forward relevant policy suggestions in China.Aviation spacecraft manufacturing industry as one of the strategic emerging industries has the characteristics, such as high investment, high added value, high technology, representing the highest manufacturing technology level. Enhancing the competitiveness of aviation aircraft manufacturing industry has very important strategic significance for the development of national economy, improving people’s living standard and national defense safety. And as one of the most representative industry of the strategic emerging industries, studying the innovation performance’s influence factors of the aviation aircraft manufacturing also has very important significance in the strategic emerging industries competitivenessIn this paper, we refer to a large number of relevant literatures and summarize the theory. In reference to the research results of the strategic emerging industries competitiveness evaluation at home and abroad, we establish the strategic emerging industry competitiveness index evaluation system. Taking the aviation spacecraft manufacturing industry for example, we use the principal component analysis to analyze to carry on the transverse comparison of regional industry competitiveness with the 23 provinces and cities of the collected data. Then, this paper uses the statistic analysis and regression analysis to analyze the innovation performance’s influence factors of the strategic emerging industries. The end of the essay is the conclusions and policy recommendations.Research conclusion of this paper shows that the provinces have different development characteristics of the strategic emerging industries, and regional internal development is very uneven. Technology factors in strategic emerging industries competitiveness play an extremely important role and many factors influence its performance. New products development expenses, return on sales, R&D institutions expenses expenditure, government funds in R&D funding have a significant impact on the innovation performance. R&D personnel investment has little significance. There appears a negative correlation between appropriation expenditure of technology import and transformation and innovation performance, but its significance is not obvious. Therefore, the policy of the government also must set off around the above points, pay attention to innovation, strengthen the funds investment, optimize R&D personnel investment, balanced regional development and guide the development of strategic emerging industries, so as to achieve strategic intention of the country.
