Research On The Industrial Development Pattern In China’s Typical Coal Area

Coal plays an important role in China’s energy structure and economic development, relating to the overall national energy security and economic development,while more than 75% of the coal produced in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Guizhou five major coal producing regions. In this paper, the input-output method studies industrial development model in major coal producing areas is improtant for the optimization of the layout of the coal industry and promoting sustainable development to regional economic.This paper selects Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan and Guizhou provinces as China’s five major coal-producing areas while use 1987,1992,1997,2002, 2007 regional input-output table analyzes the industrial interrelation and affected effect between coal mining industry and other industries to made recommendations China’s major coal-producing areas of industrial development model. Form the following achievements:1. China’s coal mining industry in major coal producing areas have shortage pulling effect on other industries, coal consumption single, should extend the coal industry chain, strengthen coal in situ conversion rate;2.Coal mining industry in major coal producing areas has higher influence than senseititvty, so coal mining industry will be easy form a bottleneck when regional economic develop sowlly, development of coal industry should diversification.3. China’s major coal producing areas of coal mining industry reversed out of more than 50% dependent on the nature of the coal export base continues to strengthen, the coal mining industry to bring enormous pressure on the local environment, should further promote in the main coal-producing areas green mining development, protect the healthy development of the coal mining industry.The industrial development model for main coal producing should strengthen industrial diversification and environmental protection in the context of security of energy supply security and promoting sound and rapid development of regional economy.
