Research On The Development Relationship Of Producer Services And Manufacturing Industry

With the further opening of the Chinese economy, the competition between China and the world will be more intense, especially competition in the economy. It has great significance for China’s economic development to grasp the development direction of the industrial structure. And the manufacturing and the producer services has an important factor in secondary’and tertiary industries, which has a meaningful impact on national economic development and can not be ignored. The development of manufacturing and producer services has an important influence on every national economic growth. The main reason is that the development of these two sectors represents the world industrial growth direction. And the interaction between the manufacturing and producer services has a significant impact on GDP growth. Studying the relationship between the producer services and manufacturing, we can guide scientific industrial restructuring. We can also avoid excess capacity and other issues related by the unbalanced industrial structure. By studying this problem, we can also accelerate the development of the Chinese economic, and is also important for the global economic integration. Based on previous studies, this article explored the development of relations between producer services and manufacturing based on the regional level, and tried to discover the problems existing in the process of producer services and manufacturing developing in China.There are five parts in this paper. The first chapter briefly introduces the background of selected topic and researching significance, defines the relevant concepts of category, summaries and analyzes the previous researches on the relationship between producer services and manufacturing development theory, research method, the interactive development, briefly describes the article structure and innovation points, further defines this paper’s directions, focus, and specific contents. In the second chapter, this paper summaries the relationships between producer services and manufacturing based on national and regional macro views. In the third chapter, using input and output data of the OECD countries and China, analyze the development of the relationship between producer services and manufacturing, with the development of world economy of general trend or pattern, find out China’s gap and problems with developed countries in manufacturing and the interactive development of producer services. In the fourth chapter, by principal component analysis of economic indicators of Chinese provinces and regions’manufacturing and producer services, calculate average comprehensive factor score and rank, find the specific relationship between them, further manufacturing and producer services development promote each other, complement each other, law of development. In the fifth chapter, corresponding policy recommendations are given base on the empirical results.Through the above analysis, the paper concludes:the more perfect the economy is, the higher manufacturing depends on producer services; the producer services relies on manufacturing is negatively related to the level of economic development; the dependences which producer services departments relies on manufacturing are different; the development level of producer services and manufacturing is in a positive relationship with economic development; the region whose producer services has a stronger economic creation ability, has a more developed manufacturing industry.There are two innovating ideas in this paper. First of all, using the latest input-output data, the dependence of producer services and manufacturing between China and 7 countries of OECD is compared. Besides, the ability to create productive capacity of the provinces is ranked, and Spearman correlation analysis is used to study the production of services and manufacturing development of relations.
