The Research Of The Technology Spillover Effect Of Software Execution In China

Technology spillover, which refers to the involuntary diffusion of technology by various means, can not only improve the technical level of the host country but also facilitate local economic growth. The international division and IT progress have contributed remarkably to the development of software outsourcing, and the technology spillover of software outsourcing undertaking has also awakened the attention of scholars. Since existing literature tends to study technology spillover from the angle of foreign direct investment, technology spillover of software outsourcing undertaking emerges in various approaches such as human capital and industrial cluster. Therefore, with software outsourcing taken as the breakthrough point, technology spillover is explored in the process of software outsourcing.Firstly, an introduction is given to the research status of technology spillover at home and abroad. Secondly, this paper is devoted to elaborating relevant theories and the approaches of technology spillover as well as to analyzing the current situation of software outsourcing undertaking in China. Then, total factor productivity is calculated by means of C-D production function from empirical angle with a view to judging whether there is technology spillover, and meanwhile, multiple regression model is used to prove the factors influencing technology spillover during 2006 and 2012 in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Dalian,Shenzhen 5 service outsourcing bases. As shown by the theoretical and empirical results, technology spillover is brought into existence by various factors such as software outsourcing, industrial cluster and human capital in China’s software outsourcing industry, whereas enterprise scale has to a certain degree influenced the effect of technology spillover,which suggests that China’s software outsourcing undertaking still faces some problems that need to be solved under effective guidance. Finally,in combination with empirical results, the technology spillover of software outsourcing is advised to be facilitated to heighten the overall competitiveness of software outsourcing industry by four means that includes expanding market, improving industrial agglomeration,increasing human capital investment and strengthening the research and development of enterprise.
