With the advent of the new economy era and intensifying competition, human capital plays an increasingly important role in sustainable development of enterprises while the shortage of core talents to some extent aggravated human resource contradiction in enterprise development. Core talents’ voluntary turnover will not only cause the loss of human capital and the increase of investment replacement cost, but also lead to the loss of core competitiveness of enterprises. Therefore, enterprises should pay more attention to the management of core talents and reasons for their voluntary turnover.This thesis takes core talents in JG company, a typical high-tech company manufacturing biological genetic engineering products, as the investigation object. This thesis adopts the method of questionnaire survey, which focuses on the regulating effect of job embeddedness and personality traits to turnover intention and verifies the influence of traditional variables including job satisfaction, organizational commitment, external job opportunities and so on. The analysis results are as follows. Firstly, according to the related analysis of core talents’ turnover intention in JG company, there is significant negative correlation in the relationship between core talents’ job satisfaction and their turnover intention, also in the relationship between organizational commitment and core talents’ turnover intention; there is remarkable negative correlation in the relationship between external job opportunities and core talents’ turnover intention. Secondly, the job embeddedness of JG company’s core talents plays a regulating role in the relationship between traditional variables and turnover intention. Finally, the five personality trait dimensions of core talents in JG company play a part of regulating role in the relationship between traditional variables and turnover intention. According to the analysis results, this thesis proposes some corresponding management suggestions for JG company to keep the core talents.
