Study Of The Relationship Between Tourism Development And Urbanization In Chongqing

Since Chongqing became a municipality directly under the Central Governm ent for more than ten years since,it has gradually become a typical representative and social economic growth pole of the western region.Urbanization is an importa nt sign to measure the level of social and economic development.In recent years,t ourism becomes more and more important for Chongqing national economy, how to promote the tourism industry becomes the strategic pillar industry in Chongqin g is currently is a common problem for Chongqing governments at all levels.Bot h the development of tourism and urbanization in Chongqing are an important driv ing force for economic and social development,so Chongqing can connect the two force to become a connected system,based on the Chongqing tourism industry ha s been booming,promote the quality and level of urbanization,the level of urbaniz ation promotion promote tourism structure optimization.So it is necessary to recogn ize the relationship between Chongqing tourism system and urbanization system,a nd the specific way of mutual promotion.This paper uses a combination of normative analysis and empirical analysis,q ualitative analysis and quantitative analysis the levels of Chongqing tourism indust ry development and urbanization are the research object,analysts the degree of ass ociation and interaction mechanism between the two systems,trying to provide scie ntific and reasonable suggestions for Chongqing tourism and urbanization.Firstly,reviewed studies in domestic and foreign about tourism development,urbanization and the interactive relationship,understand the progress of study on th is.Discussing on the concept of tourism and urbanization,and the related theories us ed in this article.Secondly,researching on Chongqing tourism system and urbanization system,su mming up the background,present situation and existing problems of tourism in Chongqing,using the method of principal component to measure the levels of sup ply and demand of Chongqing tourism,the level of demand is mainly affected by the tourism person time,supply level has been remaining stable growth since mun icipality,accommodation reception level has a great affect on Chongqing tourism tot al supply level,the present tourism supply level is lower than the level of demand.Then summing up the situation of urbanization,also using the method of principal component analysis to measure the urbanization levels,the urbanization level rose steadily since municipality,population,economy,space effect on Chongqing overall l evel of urbanization greatly.Thirdly,combining the Chongqing tourism and urbanization,analysis the role o f tourism plays in the process of urbanization,and the role of urbanization plays i n tourism,and the specific path of the two systems how to promote each other.On the basis of the analysis,calculate the level of the correlation between the in dex of tourism and the index of urbanization with the method of grey correlatio n analysis,the results is:tourism industrial status in national economy and urbanizat ion got the highest correlation,it shows that Chongqing tourism is an important ro le in the third industry and the optimization of the industrial structure.The main conclusions of the research are: Chongqing tourism supply level is lower than the level of tourism demand,Chongqing needs promote quality and co ntent of its urbanization, taking a new road of Chongqing urbanization, tourism and urbanization are two closely related systems.
