Research On Food Safety Issues In Yangling

Food security is not only directly related to the physical and mental health, the lives of each person, but also to the rapid economic development and social harmony and stability. In recent years, with the development of economy and urban-rural integration, our living standards continue to improve. Many factors had resulted in a serious situation of food quality and safety, such as the destruction of the ecological environment, the shortage of food resources, the relatively low level of education of employees, lack of food security safety awareness, and so on. Therefore, strengthening research on food safety issues is particularly important. and urgent.Yangling District, as the sole administrative regional under the only agricultural technology demonstration with high-tech industry, especially its food safety issues played an exemplary role in the development of modern agriculture in arid semi-arid regions of western China. Based on microscopic research data, and taken Yangling urban-rural integration process as a background, the current situation of food safety problems and causes in Yangling were analyzed. Drawing on food safety management practices and experiences of developed countries, Measures targeted to solve food safety problems had been proposed for Yangling.According to the goals, three conclusions were put forward: First of all, the food safety status of Yangling District were as follows: The regulatory system should be improved gradually; the second is the improvement of stability of food safety and quality; the third is the attention and awareness should be enhanced every year. Secondly, the main problem of food security in Yangling District were existed: The legal awareness of production units of food safety need to be strengthened; the second is relatively backward means of detection in regulatory and there is a certain gap between the number of personnel and professional quality with new authority institutions; the third is to form social cohabitation situation. Thirdly, measures to solve food safety problems in Yangling District were proposed: establishing a sound food safety supervision of relevant laws and regulations, and training and improve their self-awareness regularly in food production units; the second is to promote reform, to strengthen supervision and team building, and to improve inspection and testing technical support; the third is to strengthen its efforts to create a social cohabitation situation.
