Minqin county locates in the northeast of Hexi Corridor and lower Shiyang River basin, which is a typical county that dominate by agricultural economy and is a representative in Gansu. Therefore, the analysis of restraint status of Minqin county financial support, exploring its inhibition degree of economy and to seek solutions to this problem has important theoretical and practical significance.These papers using the methods of describe analysis and empirical analysis. On the base of a modem rural financial development theory and research methods and a clear county economic implications, the paper analyses the financial support status in county economic development of Minqin county and reveals financial restraint problems in county economic. Through analyzing the relationship between county economic growth and financial development on the endogenous economic growth model from two points of Minqin county, the paper has proved that there is a phenomenon of county financial repression in Minqin county. At last, at the fundamental point of achieving the optimum allocation of financial resources and the promotion of the county’s economic development, the paper gives some policies and proposals:proposing to deepen financial reform and improve the county’s financial market; building a diversified, multi-level, efficient financial service system; optimizing the external environment.
