Research On Location Of Production Centralized Enterprise’s Logistics Center

With the development of modern economy and technology, logistics, taken as’Third Profit Resource’, has been paid more attention to its value and realistic significance. It is proved by the research that the location selection of distribution center has direct relationship to the efficiency, costs and customer satisfaction, which will have important influence on enterprise’s operation. Especially for production-centralized enterprise, since the production process can’t be separated, the whole process of the product must be concentrated in a particular place to complete. Based on the above factors, the article made the following studies:Firstly, the paper illustrated the background and significance of thesis research, expounded the research status about the location of logistics distribution center at home and abroad and collated the related theory of distribution centers;Secondly, through analyzing the product cost composition, this paper determined the mainly costs of location selection process, which includes the cost of transporting products from factory to distribution center; the cost of delivering products from distribution center to dealer and the construction costs. Then, under satisfying service level, it took cost minimization as the goal to build the location model, and proved the validity of this model through analyzing a case;Thirdly, because of the demand fluctuation and the value-added services provided by distribution center, it can be built the location selection model with the goal of maximizing income, which made the storage capacity of new distribution center to meet the demand of sales peak, and in case of idle resources in other time, rent them to the society to get benefits. Through the case study, using this method can make the enterprise gain more benefits;Finally, through the comprehensive analysis of the location selection of distribution center and the distribution path choice to customer, this paper built the location-line selection model, which minimized the total transportation costs and construction costs in the system. And then, it used genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm to analyze the example. Because the calculation results conformed to the actual situation, it illustrated the feasibility and validity of this model.
