In response to environmental pollution and energy security, the development of electric vehicles has become the dominant direction in the process of China’s automobile industry transformation and upgrading. Power battery is the key components and the only source of driving force in electric vehicles, has achieved rapid development with the constantly growth of electric vehicles. After a certain life cycle, lots of waste power batteries will be produced. The waste power battery contains chemicals and heavy metals, which will generate the environment pollution and resources wasted. At present, the management of power battery recycling is still at the exploratory stage in our country, which development of various aspects lags behind. The research of power battery recycling model can provide scientific basis for recycling practices, and can effectively promote the recycling.Firstly, elaborate the background and significance of paper, study the present situation of battery recycling at home and abroad, analyzes the defects of power battery recycling management in our country, confirm the main research contents, and discuss the related theory of battery recycling.Secondly, a system dynamics model of the electric vehicle new increment is developed, and the variation trends is simulated by using Vensim software, then based on the life cycle relationship between power batteries and electric vehicles, the new increment of power batteries are calculated. Considering the changing life cycle of power battery, the scraped power battery in 2012-2025 is predicted by scrap prediction model. Base on the survey data; quantify the total amount of precious metals of waste power battery, as well as analysis recycling value of power battery.Then, according to the sales mode and recycling situation of power battery in our country, recycling channels, participation main body of recycling process, and recovery path are studied, the different recycling process of power battery are analyzed. Based on the above research, determine the power battery manufacturers has the main recycle responsibility, the electric vehicle manufacturers or battery renter need to support the recycling, and respectively build the power battery manufacturers recycling mode, industry alliance recycling mode and third party recycling mode, discusses the operation and process of the recycling modes.Finally, the decision-making of recycling modes are studied from the aspects of qualitative and quantitative, the influence factors of recycling mode select is analyzed, the process of recycling mode select is designed, and a dynamic game mode is built base on the objective of profit and cost, which analysis the different recycling mode decision, put forward the suggestions of power battery recycling.
