More than 10 years ago, the subway is only one of the beautiful "scenery" of big city such as Beijing Shanghai and Guangzhou. Nowadays, in our country, the subway like bamboo shoots after a spring rain in second-tier cities, declared that subway construction in China develops faster and faster.Many cities begin to explore their own future from 10 meters underground.In recent years, economic of Foshan City develops rapidly, however, the development of city public traffic is far behind the economic. The subway has advantages such as large capacity, low energy consumption, fast speed, comfortable and safe, so it has become the main theme of the city public traffic system. Therefore, as a response to the Foshan city traffic congestion problem caused by the rapid development of the strategic initiatives, the subway will be able to effectively alleviate the contradiction of city traffic, improve citizens travel quality, optimize the allocation of resources of city, the adjustment of city space structure, thus improving the city investment environment. The subway has become the biggest driving force for the development of "new city" Foshan City, meanwhile, it is also the biggest challenge Foshan city has to face in the future’s development.The subway development needs a lot of money. It need high investment and long investment cycle. The lack of money has become a bottleneck restricting the rapid development of subway. Research on subway construction funds is the major topics of social development throughout the world. Analysis of economic development of Foshan city shows that, although Foshan city has five districts, its total economic output in Guangdong Province ranked third, but the five district financial independence lead to the Foshan city limited income. In recent years, the national financial policy has been tight, the traditional financing mode which total depend on government is facing the challenge. In this paper, based on the lessons learned in the research of city subway construction financing at home and abroad, aiming to solve the main financing problems of the two subway line project in Foshan, according to the features of Foshan city development stage, we put forward the new idea of combining the subway+ property market and try to carry out beneficial exploration to the financing strategy of the Foshan city subway network.The suggestion of mixed ownership has broadened the financing channels of the subway construction. Therefore, that try to use the TOD mode and the PPP mode effectively, following the market financing road has become the main idea of financing strategy. In recent years, along with the " Subway+ property" mode, the subway financing create a new pattern. The model can solve the construction funds problem, but also balance the profit and loss between the subway operator and the land owner, is another important choice to develop financing strategy. The organic combination of different kinds of financing mode and try to realize the weaknesses, the advantages of them, is the key step to develop financing strategy. We believe that, the innovation of Foshan metro line two’s financing mode would face both opportunities and challenges, would reform and develop the financing mode of the metro network in future. Although we still need adjustment when it is in practice, we have to keep improving many things, but we still believe that it will eventually became better and better, finally bring into good news!...
