Research On The Inventory Control Optimization Of The Garment Enterprise M Based On The Supply Chain

As the competition in the garment industry intensifies, the inventory problem is particularly important for garment enterprise inventory control. Now, the garment market completion between individual enterprises have switched to the field of supply chain, To settle the problem, the garment enterprise have to start from the entire supply chain, strengthen the cooperation with the supply chain enterprises from the upstream to the downstream, obtaining the advantages from the supply chain cooperation. Therefore, it’s significant to optimize the inventory control for the garment enterprises from the supply chain.The thesis selects the garment enterprise M inventory control problem as the research object. By investigating M enterprise inventory control situation and integrating with the supply chain management, the inventory control methods and the purchasing management, etc. The thesis Analyzes the M enterprise current problem and its reasons existing in the supply chain’s inventory control by means of theories, practice, qualitative and quantitative analysis, summarizing 3 issues in the aspects of the enterprise interior collaboration, garment demand forecasting management and raw material inventory control. Finally, the thesis here comes up with the optimization of the inventory control according to the current situation of the enterprise M.Firstly, adjusting the enterprise organization structure and setting up the information sharing mechanism to optimize enterprise internal business collaboration. Integration of internal resources to strengthen internal coordination between functional departments; Establish effective information sharing mechanism to strengthen the enterprise internal functions and information sharing between upstream and downstream enterprises,Secondly, the collaborative supply chain forecasting mechanism based on the Collaborative Planning and Replenishment (CPFR) will be advised to optimize the enterprise’s demand forecasting management, and improve the management by collaboratively forecasting the enterprise and the retail terminal. And, the thesis here will use the Bass Diffusion Mode to improve the forecasting accuracy for the enterprise, and through the instance analysis. With the forecasting result, using non-uniform requirements under the order quantity model to determine the order quantity and order point.Thirdly, the raw materials will be classified into A, B, C to be managed appropriately, of which, A and B will managed by the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), and analyzing the feasibility of the VMI by SWOT, and the flow chart of the VMI will be discussed as well. Moreover, in the accordance with the purchasing issue, the purchasing flow chart will be adjusted and the vendor management will be optimized. Simultaneously, the vendor-appraising index system for the enterprise M will be created, and the evaluation plan for the selection of vendors will also be presented.The research in this thesis will provide a scientific theoretical guidance to optimize the inventory control of the enterprise M, helping M to respond to the market quickly to be more competitive. To some degree, it will help other similar enterprises as well.
