The rapid development of modern market economy,the operation of business is closely related to the economic development of modern society.In the clothing business terms,the inventory in the garment business play an important role.In the clothing business,the inventory is like a double-edged sword,is the indispensable existence in the garment production and operation.A reasonable inventory will meet the different needs of customers to bring profit for the enterprise,excessive inventory will occupy a lot of the liquidity of the enterprise,limiting the development of enterprises.Therefore,the study of clothing business inventory is essential.In this paper,the author put forward the problem according to the research background and the status quo at home and abroad and the conclusion is that the inventory problem result from many factors in supply chain.By analyzing the inventory and supply chain,the author analysed inventory problems of brand G from the supply chain perspective and found the relevant theory corresponding to the problem as the basis for settlement.Based on the Bass model,this paper added the customer's product preference and seasonal factors to improve the forecasting model and help solve the inventory problem from the beginning of the supply chain.About the solution to the problem of suppliers,a new supplier evaluation index system was established according to the characteristics of brand G enterprises,and then selected suppliers matching brand G development needs through the application of AHP to help solve the inventory problem in the supply chain.Faced with the current problem of confusion in the marketing channels of the brand G,firstly,this paper introduced the current distribution channel model in the apparel industry,then provided strategic suggestions for establishment of an orderly multi-channel marketing according to the existing development scale of the brand G to solve the inventory problem from the end of the link.The results of this paper not only limited to solve the problems of brand G inventory,but also put forward a new perspective on the inventory of apparel products business-supply chain perspective.The concrete measures can further improve the inventory status of the brand G and the conclusion can also be used for other clothing brands.
