With the advent of the era of the boundaryless career and people’s emphasis on human resources quality requirements, people put a high value on the development of employability. And the employability of employees is very important to the growth of enterprises. Through strengthening the employability of employees, the organizations can enhance organizational performance and human resources get to be flexibly configured, so that the organizations can maintain competitiveness. In addition, if employees have high employability, they can work well, adapt easily to a changing environment and achieve their professional targets.Leadership style has been proven to be one important factor to the employees among the numerous situational factors in the organization. Leadership style especially transformational leadership style affects employees’cognition to the climate and employees’behaviors. Besides, employees’voluntary learning behaviors and group learning factors are all important to the leadership effectiveness and the employability of employees. So far, the previous study still lacks related empirical studies. So the main purpose of this study is systematical to investigate the impact of the transformational leadership on employees’employability and the influence mechanism of learning factors (voluntary learning behavior, group knowledge sharing, group learning climate). This study conducted a large-scale survey of employees who are from Nanjing, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Xian, Ningbo and Beijing. Finally, this paper got 354 valid questionnaires. With the valid data, we firstly used internal consistency reliability analysis and confirmatory factor analysis to investigate the reliability and effectiveness, then used Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and hierarchical linear regression analysis to verify the hypotheses. The results showed that:(1) the transformational leadership has a positive effect on employees’employability; (2) group knowledge sharing moderates the relationship between transformational leadership and employability; (3) group learning climate moderates the relationship between transformational leadership and employability; (4) The moderation of group knowledge sharing is fully mediated by voluntary learning behavior; (5) The moderation of group learning climate is fully mediated by voluntary learning behavior. So, all hypotheses are verified. In all, the current study not only extends the empirical findings about the relationship between the transformational leadership and employability of employees, but also makes an attempt to explore the moderating and mediating mechanism of factors of group learning and individual learning. So, the findings can provide a useful reference to the follow-up studies. In practice, the study not only encourages managers to show more transformational leadership behaviors and set up a good study atmosphere, but also encourages employees to be actively involved in sharing knowledge and voluntary learning.
