The Industrial Organization Innovation And Economic Growth:Theoretical, Empirical And Policy

Throughout the world situation and China’s development path, sustained and healthy growth of a country’s economy depends on the adjustment and upgrading of economic structure, and the adjustment and upgrading of the structure relies on the innovation of industrial organization. However, excess capacity, resources waste, excessive competition and other unreasonable conditions of industrial organization still restrict the continuous increasing of economy in our country. Adapting to the new situation of economic development at home and abroad, we need to "change" which should "change", to promote the industry jumped to the high-end value chain by industrial organization innovation, and then enhance the speed and quality of economic development. Throughout the existing literature, research on industrial organization and industrial organization innovation have got abundant achievements, but the research achievements on the relationship between industrial organization innovation and economic growth is less, and the research achievements more focused on the theoretical research, systematic quantitative studies are not yet over see. Based on this, this paper attempts to construct assessment index system of industrial organization innovation and model of industrial organization innovation and economic growth, and then analysis the relationship of industrial organization innovation and economic growth.This paper studies industrial organizational innovation and economic growth, by using the methods of literature reviews, combination of theoretical analysis and empirical test and quantitative analysis. It mainly includes three aspects as follows:(1) Based on the system literature reviews of the characteristics of industrial organization innovation and its relationship with economic growth at home and abroad, this paper defines industrial organization innovation from the microcosmic, medium and macroscopic content, analyses the innovation mechanism of industrial organization briefly, focus on the analysis of the mechanism of industrial organization innovation pushes forward the development of economy through value-added effect, scale economy effect, innovation effect, human capital effect and resource allocation effect, briefly discusses the economic growth will also through the provision of new demand, new space policy reaction to industrial organization innovation, and then constructs a mathematical model, revealing the impact of industrial organization innovation to economic growth in theory. (2) According to the theoretical analysis, the paper builds an index system of industrial organization innovation which contains five effects, using the factor analysis method for determination, then develops an econometric analysis model of industrial organization innovation and economic growth, analyzing the relationship of industrial organization innovation and economic growth from empirical perspective. The results show that the industrial organization innovation pushes forward the development of economy is feasible both in theory and in practice, but can’t prove the hypothesis that economic growth can counteractive to industrial organization innovation. (3) According to the theory and empirical analysis results, the paper puts forward policy recommendations to promote industrial organization innovation from the enterprise level, industry level and the government level.
