Research On The Impact Of Technological Innovation And Upgrading Of Industrial Structure On Economic Growth

As of the first quarter of 2017,the national economic growth rate has been a decline of 29 quarters,industrial structure has become an important aspect of restricting China's sustained economic growth,which is mainly manifested in some traditional industries with low technology innovation efficiency and the lack of innovation power.To this end,the Chinese government has fully implemented the "supply side structural reform" development strategy,and introduced "innovation-driven development" strategy in 2015,with a view to seek new ways and vitality for China's sustained and healthy economic development.Traditional economic growth theory believes that the implementation of "innovation-driven development" strategy can not only promote the upgrading of regional industrial structure,but also promote regional economic high-speed,stable and healthy development.Also,in the process of industrial structure transformation and upgrading,we can also indirectly increase the level of scientific and technological innovation through knowledge accumulation,optimization of industrial structure,expansion of economic growth and other ways.Thus,there is a mutual promotion and interdependence mechanism between technological innovation and upgrading of industrial structure,and this linkage mechanism is conducive to regional economic growth and dynamic transformation.Therefore,this paper is devoted to the study of technology innovation and upgrading of the industrial structure on the impact of economic growth in the region,focusing on the synergistic effect between the two on economic growth,provide the reference of theory for China's "innovation-driven development" strategy.This article from the construction of scientific and technological innovation,upgrading of the industrial structure's influence on the economic growth theory model deduced from the science and technology innovation,the upgrading of the industrial structure of the logical relationship on the impact of economic growth,and construct the panel VAR model and panel data model on the impact of economic growth and technological innovation,upgrading the industrial structure,from the perspective of empirical verification of impact on economic growth the upgrade of industrial structure,technological innovation.The following main conclusions are drawn:Firstly,the technological innovation and the upgrading of industrial structure can improve the level of economic growth in the whole country,and the effect of upgrading industrial structure on economic growth is greater than that of technological innovation.The synergistic effect between technological innovation and industrial upgrading on economic growth is significantly positive.Secondly,the influence of technological innovation and upgrading of industrial structure on economic growth is heterogeneous.The regression results in the middle region are basically consistent with the results of the whole country sample,technological innovation,upgrading of industrial structure in eastern China can improve the level of economic growth,but the effect of upgrading of industrial structure on economic growth is lower than that of the national and the central and western regions;While the technological innovation and the upgrading of industrial structure can improve the level of economic growth in western region,the synergistic effect between technological innovation and industrial upgrading on economic growth is significantly negative.Based on these research conclusions,this paper believes that the slowdown in industrial structure and the inefficient output of technological innovation are main problems hinder the regional economic development in China.Therefore,under the deepening of economic system reform,we should not only build a good technological innovation environment and technological innovation system,handle the relationship between the upgrading of industrial structure and economic growth,but also develop the coordinated development of scientific and technological innovation and upgrading of the industrial structure,reduce the difference in regional development.
