Research On The Evolution Pattern Of Spatial Agglomeration About China’s Financial Industry In The New Century

After entering the new century, driven by the process of the feature configuration marketed, regional economic integration and the financial industry itself growing mature, new features of the financial industry gathering had been shown in China. Continuously pushing forward reform and opening up, the strategic restructuring of the national economy and WTO accession will provide favorable conditions for cross-regional flow of financial resources. To explore the spatial distribution of China’s financial industry, find the spatial evolution trend of financial agglomeration, and abundant research in the field of financial geography, we use GIS software as spatial analysis technique to achieve spatial visualization. The data is about nationwide counties, county-level cities, municipal districts in 2000 and 2010, with analysis of comparative studies.The main contents of this paper are as followed. First, describe the research background, research and analyze on the status quo of China’s financial industry. Second, sum up the development process of China’s modern financial industry according to the actual situation. Third, show differences of financial clustering level in different places such as eastern, central and western regions, county and municipal districts based on the date in 2000 and 2010. Fourth, analyze how the level of financial agglomeration changes, conclude evolution models of the financial industry cluster. Fifth, preliminary study the mechanism of evolution pattern of financial industry cluster and summarize the most important factors. Sixth, draw conclusions and make differentiated policy recommendations.The results showed that China’s financial industry cluster showing the overall low level, the rapid increase and the characteristics of the local cluster. Obvious spatial differences had been shown between different regional and organizational types. Regional financial cluster showed significant spatial correlation characteristics, and there had been six kinds of typical general diffusion the association evolution model such as concentrated centralization type, polarization centralization type, concentrated borderline type, general polarization type, general borderline type. Making targeted policy recommendations of the financial industry development from the overall perspective of the associated areas is actually of great significance. After analyzing the reasons of spatial distribution and changes of financial agglomeration, we find that the environment, economic level, space factor, government function and other factors are all important.In the alternate economic environment changing between non-equilibrium and equilibrium, several points are proposed as the future of our economic and social policy control recommendations according to the analysis of financial agglomeration evolution modes and mechanism. First, we should achieve spatial and temporal differences in development strategy depending on the stage and the local conditions. Second, try to promote the formation of a multi-level financial center by adjusting the layout. Third, we should promote financial reform and integration innovation to innovate environment of financial clustering. Fourth, we can adjust the industrial structure and create a good atmosphere. Fifth, focusing on training and the introduction of financial professionals is also of great significance. Sixth, try to moderately adjust the business model of the financial industry and make the maximum risk prevention. Spatial visualization analysis is one of the major research methods in geographical areas, though the history that it applied to the field of economics is not long. However, the research method can explain phenomenon of economic space disequilibrium better. We can analyze economic phenomena of the whole story more accurately considering spatial factors. Since there are very few researches about county scale in the field of economics, we first study from the perspective of the overall pattern of National County about China’s financial industry with the comprehensive utilization of basic analysis and spatial analysis. We use space statistical analysis methods to summarize the spatial evolution model of financial clustering in the new century according to their own characteristics. This study aims to promote China’s financial industry in efficient inter-regional development, and to provide practical reference proposals.
