| Sports tourism as a fusion of the sports industry and the tourism industry two cross industry of both tourism and sports characteristics in new industries, to meet the people travel fitness needs, develop the tourism market, and promote the development of sports industry and plays an important role. Henan Province has a vast territory, its unique geographical environment, criss crossing of the famous Xiushui, nature of mix, Xiongqi magnificent natural landscape, the formation of the sports tourism is the ideal resource to carry out.In this study, by using the methods of literature, questionnaire investigation, expert interview and SWOT analysis methods, in at home and abroad about the present situation of sports tourism research was reviewed on the basis of, clear the property and classification of the sports tourism, analysis the Henan Province sports tourism development and current situation, put forward the suggestions to promote the development of sports tourism in Henan, the conclusion of the study are as follows:1. Sports tourism is tourism and sports industry cross combination, is both the characteristics of tourism industry and sports industry in new industries; on the motives of participation, tourists take the initiative to seek to sports as the carrier of tourism projects; in the geographical space main highlight is different.2. Sports tourism in Henan Province in the development of social economic conditions, location and traffic conditions, consulting service conditions, policies, laws and regulations and conditions, for the sustainable development of sports tourism in Henan Province provides security conditions.3. sports tourism in Henan Province is rich in resources, cities have to carry out the sports tourism resources, the development of sports tourism products involving water, mountains, flowers and trees, festival, national folk, venues (Development), fitness Park and so on, and has formed the Shaolin martial arts, Wen Tai Chi, rafting and other brands of sports tourism projects;4. Sports tourism in Henan Province to province tourists, male tourists than female tourists and concentrated in the age of 18-40 years old; the occupational characteristics of tourists showed no obvious tendency to concentrate, participate in sports tourism population is related to various professional; teenagers in sports tourism projects favored mainly concentrated in mountain climbing, rafting, skiing, swimming, rock climbing sports, while middle-aged to older age groups begin to gradually turn to relative leisure sports tourism;5. Sports tourism in Henan Province development advantage is the sports tourism resources are rich, brand effect has been initially formed; regional location, convenient transportation; population, huge potential tourism resources; the rapid development of economic level, per capita disposable income rises considerably.6. Henan sports tourism development disadvantage is the lack of overall planning, resource development presents blindness and skill; sports tourism products overall brand effect is not strong, has not formed the industrialization development; sports tourist has some limitations; after the government tourism policy making the lag.7. the development of sports tourism in Henan is the country’s increasing attention to the tourism industry and sports industry. The development strategy of Central Plains Economic Zone and the arrival of leisure entertainment era;8. the challenge of the development of sports tourism in Henan is the shadow of the tourism products, the famous sports tourism products, and the status of the famous sports tourism products is increasingly challenged.;And in the light of the challenges and weaknesses of Henan Province, the development of sports tourism, so as to avoid weaknesses principle from the Henan Province Sports Tourism Sustainable Development Countermeasures in scientific planning, clear the orientation of the development of sports tourism, perfect sports tourism industry chain, improve the level of industrialization, strengthen regional cooperation, to further develop the tourist market, strengthening the brand strategy, enhance the awareness of sports tourism, improve the traffic convergence, enhance regional accessibility five aspects put forward to promote the Henan Province sports tourism sustainable development countermeasure. |
