Research On The Economic Impacts Of China- Asean Expo To Guangxi

The thesis takes the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO for short) for example, then analyzes the sample which is taken from a questionnaire survey, and summaries the consumption structure of four major kind of participates, the exhibitors, buyers, audience and the organizer. After that, the thesis calculates the direct consumption separately, then computes the indirect impacts with a I-O model. Combing the direct consumption with the indirect impacts, we get the overall economic impacts of the 11th CAEXP, then we take it to compare with the month’s GDP which the CAEXPO happened. Under the guidance of the Grey Relation Theory, Input-Output Theory and the Econometric Theory, using the Time series regression Analysis and Grey Correlation Analysis with 10years’s(2004-2013) statistic of CAEXPO and several relevant industries, to investigate the relation between CAEXPO and its relevant industries. Finding that the economic achievement of CAEXPO plays a role in widely, evenly and positively driving relevant industries to grow, and the quantitative relations between them can be expressed with Quantitative Equations. And the thesis analyses problems in the process of CAEXPO economic effect. Finally, the thesis puts some suggestions about how to strengthen the CAEXPO economic impacts forward.
