| The development status of one-year-two-harvest grapevine industry and efficient technology in Daxin County was investigated by consulting the literature information, field survey, visiting farmers, sample collection and holding forums among experts of governmental organizations as well as doing experiments. This paper provides the theory basis for developing one-year-two-harvest grapevine industry in Daxin County based on local climatic and geographical advantages and efficient technology.Investigation results are showed as follows:(1) Daxin County with mild climate, abundant rainfall and sunshine is very suitable for tropical and subtropical plants. The conditions are a big advantage for developing one-year-two-harvest grapevine industry in this area and the high economic benefits can be obtained. (2) There are some problems in the development of grapevine industry, for example, grape variety is relatively single and the development is slow; the contradiction of field occupying between grape and sugarcane production is outstanding; policy support is insufficient and the grape industry development is dominated by the rural grape planters; the service system of grape production is not sound; Guide from the grape processing enterprises is lack; the standardization degree of grape production is low and fruit quality should be improved. (3) To solve the existing problems, local government must unify and clear the thoughts with grape planters, accelerate the establishment of a sound one-year-two-harvest grapevine industry development plan, carry out the work vigorously, adopt the technology for promoting the grape production, realize the standardization of grape production, improve the social service system constantly, take the outstanding advantages to ensure the development of one-year-two-harvest grapevine industry. (4) The experiment was conducted on the mainly one-year-two-harvest cultivar of Kyoho grape in Daxin County. The results showed that the berry quality is excellent, especially winter berry is better than that of summer and the economic benefit is prominent. For example, the weight per summer berry is 8 to 11g, the average weight of bunch is 432 g, the sugar content is 16.6%, the soluble solids account is 17.8% and the yield per mu is about 1000kg. The weight per winter berry is 6 to 9g, the average weight of bunch is 313g, the sugar content is 20.3%, the soluble solids account is 18.9% and the yield per mu is about 500kg. Both summer and winter berry have good colors and taste sweet and fragrant. Grape berry is early mature in Daxin County than other area. The price of summer fruits is commonly from 4 to 6 yuan per jin, and the price of winter fruits is from 5 to 8 yuan per jin. The economic benefits are far better than corn and sugarcane; (5) There are some problems, for example, the rainfall is abundant, which result that the grapes are easy to downy mildew and anthracnose, severe reduction of production, even no havest. Pesticide used to disease prevention, which increased the cost and reduced the quality of grapes. (6) To solve this problem need to build a plastic shelter tent. It can avoid serious harm from downy mildew and anthracnose of the grapes. Build plastic shelter tent costs 6000 to 8000 yuan per mu. The investment is difficult for planters. So that they are not willing to consider the technology, so it is difficult for promotion. I hope that the relevant government departments will introduce some support and subsidy policies for efficient agriculture to promote the sustainable development of the grape industry in Daxin. |
