In this knowledge-economy oriented era, the key element of the competition among the companies is finally attributed to the competition of talents, and talents are important resources and effective safeguards for them to survive and develop in the market. Recruitment is the main means to obtain the talents and can also influence the companies’ operational efficiency. Especially for the middle-sized and small-sized companies, due to the disadvantageous reasons such as weak competitiveness、poor business environment and high turnover, their development has been severely inhibited, and it’s tough for them to survive and develop. So attracting and retaining high-quality talents are very imperative for them.However, there are many problems within those companies, for example, lack of the sense of human capital investment、deficient of exhaustive job analysis、unscientific talent-evaluating methods、no scientific human resources planning and low-quality recruiters and so on, which lead to unsatisfactory results of recruitment. In this dissertation, the writer will revolve around the problems about recruitment within those companies, utilizing the relevant theories of modern human resources and management economy and combing scientific methods including literature research、summarizing method、statistical analysis、case study and so on to analyze those problems,and provide the according solutions such as emphasizing the importance of human capital investment、improving the professional degree of the recruiters and eliminating the discrimination and so on. Meanwhile, the writer will take W as an example, based on the actual hiring situation, to study the relevant mechanism within those companies and find out the problems, trying to certify the general principles and resolve the theoretical and practical problems.But due to limited experience and lack of professional knowledge, those resolutions are only targeted at general principles, for those from different industries and at different stages, the companies need to consider their actual situations to find out answers for their problems.
